On Tuesday, McCluskey called the meeting "a good avenue to communicate with the city."
Since 2007, Beazer has been in Omega Seamaster 300 On Leather a binding consent agreement to clean up the hazardous waste at the site. Beazer is in the process of continuing to finalize a remedial action plan before moving forward with the cleanup at the Beazer property and Greeley Park.
"I'm guessing we'll strongly recommend for the Department of Environmental Services to initiate a public hearing," Nelson said. "Somebody could have just moved in town yesterday and have no idea that they're living next to that."

For 60 years, creosote was used at the Beazer property to preserve railroad ties and dumped in pits throughout the property.
On Oct. 22, DES received a new groundwater and surface water monitoring report, which is intended to track creosote along the perimeter of the contaminated zone on the Beazer property. The report was dated the day after a Telegraph story examining the cleanup efforts at the site.
McClusky said that data, along with an ongoing investigation at the Beazer site and Greeley Park, is being conducted by Pennsylvania based Key Environmental, a company hired by Beazer.

What steps will be taken to remediate those issues, and what is the expected time frame?'" said Nelson, who is the water monitoring coordinator for the Nashua River Watershed Association. Nov. 13 in Room 208 of City Hall, will also address whether or not McCluskey has been transparent.
"Well take a look at that and make sure it's still clean," McClusky said.
The Nov. 13 meeting is open to the public, but Nelson said expectations for a public hearing style event should be low. "We don't have on our agenda a large amount of time to address Omega Seamaster Quartz
McClusky added that he and his agency would make a continued effort to keep the public informed and to provide "a brief overview of history at the site."

NASHUA City and state officials will gather next month to discuss the creosote contaminated Beazer property, a 97 acre hazardous waste site along the Merrimack River in the Nashua's North End.
McClusky said Tuesday that he had not yet reviewed the report but said he would expect Beazer to contact him "if there are any issues" with the new data. McClusky said Beazer has not reported any issues "this time around."
McClusky said ground monitors near the railroad tracks, which parallel Cassandra Lane and Hills Ferry Road, "should be clean."
Nelson said the northern portion of Greeley Park, near the boat ramp, will also be on the Waterways Committee's Nov. 13 agenda when McCluskey is present.
